I Miss You (Rachel) - Poem by Peter Manton

From the first time I held your hand,
To the first time we played in the sand.

My heart warmed, with feelings of ore,
As I looked upon your eyes, such beauty I saw

Memories of us, flood my mind, from day to day,
Memories of us, flood my mind, from where we once lay.

Your presence hath evade, my heart hath broken inside,
I miss you, and everything that has subside.

From my absence, a tear hath shed,
If only I could take back those 3 words I said.

My love hath only repent your call,
Such foolish actions hath lead to my fall.

Oh how I hath missed your radiant smile,
Oh how I long for your tender touch.

True to my word, I will love you forever more,
And this I proclaim, on every word I swore.

You are my savior, you are my world, no one can replace your love that was once present in my life and no one may take it away.

Cu’z in the end we’ll, make it through,
Just wanted to say babe, I miss you…

{This poem is in memory of Rachel Corkish}
