I Miss You Tonight, Darling Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Miss You Tonight, Darling

You've been away for one night
I already miss you in the dark
Next to me. I miss your sight
Your scent and you on my back.

I miss you very dearly tonight
I cannot spend another night
Without you. I miss you breathing
On my face and neck all night long.

I don't have you to scratch my back
In the middle of the night. It's dark
It's cold and the king bed is too big.

Hurry up. Finish taking care of your business
I'm hugging the pillows. I want one last kiss
I want to love and be happy. And I want to dig.
