I Must Be Used To Clouds Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

I Must Be Used To Clouds

I must be used to clouds
And so must train in chill right
At Dawn's start:
There
I watch day before it
Dresses
The customary Dress of Drear:
For
For as I saw
There was no haunting at the Day's Anointing:
There were the seeds of drear
Yet
I wondered whether they came to
Earth at night
Last night with dews and
Haunting.
Not rain to-day?
It had to be rainy said the
Radio.
But where rain failed the chill succeeded.
And I?
I only had the seeds for a few verses.
