I Need A Break! - Poem by Albert Pryor

Job search is such a pain,
A task mere mortals
Can do nought but complain.
All that effort
From day to day,
Just to park your butt
To make some decent pay.
It's enough to cause you
To surrender
All in the need
For legal tender.
All those interviews
Just to impress them,
When they're simply
Going to remember it
As verbal mayhem.
As usual,
I often fail
To get it across,
That all I want
Is a job with Blue Cross,
And not to be
Someones second hand boss.
I don't know
If it's the world or me
That's gone nuts.
Somethings got to give
And something soon
Before I turn
Into a Looney Tune!
