Recognized you held such a promise
found in your eyes
seems you're qualified
and can really satisfy
every need the heart be craving
where it shall apply
let's take this steady
if neither one is ready

Eventually, this will be
at it's best for eternity
whatever happens now
will determine how
things play in the future
love takes time to grow
maybe even years to show
must be a foundation there
if it is to go to a level
between two

I never knew
how much you loved me, I was a fool
Don't think there's a need to ask why
tell me you do, let me know something
where i could tell you
what my heart is feeling tonight

Words may not been spoken
but then one must realize
certain languages leave you open
there is no need for explanations
when you just know
and there is nothing
telling you otherwise
when you see there's something
you've given me to feel

everything in me
is trying to hold back
if we were together
I'd start to become weak

love takes time to grow
