I No More Poem by Victoria Ritchie

I No More

No longer will I say 'I',
I'll say 'we'
Because we've become one
just you and me.

I'll love you forever sweetheart.
Secrets so beautiful,
Never to be shared.
Secrets between us,
You're the only one who truly cares,
This is what I believe;
Nobody’s more perfect together,
Than you and me.

We share a private emotion,
Nobody should see.
This miracle should be kept a secret,
Simplicity between you and me,
Perfect, honest love,
And that's the way it should be.

We’re good together,
It’s obvious to the world,
Our love’s like gold,
Never to be destroyed,
Just for us to hold.

You’re all I ever dreamed,
I always knew we’d be together.
I know now that I’ve found you,
I’ll love you forever,
I know this because,
There is nobody better.

This private emotion,
Indulging in love,
No one could criticize,
This love sent from above.
You see,
We believed,
We were saved,
We were guided to each other,
My friend,
My lover,
My significant other.
