I only can imagine how awful you must feel
It will take a long time for your heart to heal.
Almost two long years together you can't expect your heart
To mend itself overnight and make a brand new start.
She was someone very special people say to just move on
Get over it already you know that she's gone.
But maybe they don't realize if you could change the past
You would have did most anything to make those feelings last.
It's never ever easy losing someone that you love
Reliving every moment she seemed to be part of.
Sure you may have made mistakes it's something we all do
And sometimes plans don't turn out just how we want them to.
In time you will get over her just you wait and see
Miracles can happen some things aren't meant to be.
What the future holds in store whatever lies ahead
I hope you know deep in your heart in me you found a friend.
