I refuse to let you have mental power over me
I refuse to let you make me feel like I'm the bad guy
I refuse to sit and cry because of your ignorant ways
I refuse to act as if I was not taught to ignore the ones who don't matter
I refuse to let you tear down my self-esteem
I refuse to give you the power over me
I refuse to give in to depression
I refuse to let you stop me from making a better life for myself
