I Remember Them - Poem by Steven Harris

I remember that girl
i remember her face
i remember her hair
i remember the clothes
she used to wear
i remember that girl
i hate writing
and talking about
those girls i liked
those girls that made
me want to fall in love
i hate it
it's boring
it's been done
but i cant help it
every time i look
back
throughout my teens
there's always a girl
and i never said anything
i never let them know
i never told them what i liked
about them
i never made that step to say
anything
now there not around
moved away
gone to college
gone to uni
with other people
i don't mind but i wish i
said something
i wish i did something
what a waste
maybe now i'll do something.
