I Saw Cirrus Cloud Poem by Haiqing Hua

I Saw Cirrus Cloud

I saw cirrus cloud
Oliver Hua, May 30,2018, Toronto

I turn my face up to the sky
I saw those cirrus clouds
Those cirrus clouds expand with the wind
They look like a stretch of white lotus

All those greeneries are whirling and dancing
At a time the evening lights are turned on automatically
Those grasses under have long been unmowed
These are alike with my thought unmowed

My thought is a secret not shown to people
My lofty sentiment are hidden in mind so long
Those densely opened plantations
They are withered not even wait for blossom to finish

You even can see
Their souls have left their bodies
They walk like people
Walk under the colorful clouds

They walk a borderless walk
In this borderless summer
Walk under the colorful clouds
Walk with the evenings

I must walk carefully
As I am so scared to step on
Those exuberant wild profusion of life
They are the beautiful verses overflow on the grassland

I saw cirrus cloud

Oliver Hua, May 30,2018, Toronto
