I Search No More Poem by kindle jackson

I Search No More

</>I've looked so long for that one,
you were here now you're gone.
Your kiss sent shock waves of
hope and lust through out my body,
you got cold feet then left me lonely.

I told God 'I won't give up,
you've sent him here to lift me up'.
I've tried so hard to keep my heart closed,
will we ever be something more? only
heaven knows.

I've felt an impossibility that you would see
me cry, but you've made me so weak -
too truthful to lie.

I've learned my lesson, I will never let
anyone else in - I search no more,
let the jadedness begin.
