In the temple of my heart,
Burns a lamp;
In the depths of my soul,
Are the flames of longing, so deep.
For long, I wandered in search of treasures,
For long, was veiled the pearl of night.
Here and there, I roamed futile,
in search of an essence.
In ignorance, I wondered,
'Where is the bunch of blossoms? '
Only to find the garden in my soul.
Though heavy was the gloom,
Now, dissolves into light,
For I find myself garlanded with flowers.
Blazes of heart-melted longings,
There I sense in the deep sea,
Hidden in my soul
Where the flickering candle wick
Now burns bright.
Torn is the veil and now I see
The lighted world.
In the dark, I wandered far too long,
Only to find the morning in my soul.
These eyes of mine have wept till dawn,
Only to find the light in my soul.
These lips of mine have thirsted for long,
Only to find the ocean in my soul.
A homeless I was, in search of a home,
And there I entered the house of treasures,
