I Searched For Meaning Poem by Mohammad Younus

I Searched For Meaning

I searched for meaning
in ancient tales and manuscripts,
but it was in the vast manifestation—
in the stars and oceans,
in distant galaxies and endless waves,
in meadows, streams, and deserts,
in the quiet depths of my heart—
I found eternity whispering back to me:
'Here, this is my home.'

Viewing the beauty of creation,
my eyes lit up with unspoken words,
where every touch felt like
the primordial covenant kept,
and every atom echoed
the melody of a timeless song.
The universe stretched vast and wild,
yet, within the embrace of my heart,
it became a place of peace.

I realized then—
no distant journey was needed,
for you are the truth of me and all that is,
I have found all I sought,
once lost in the wilderness, unguided, in vain.
I have found where I belong—where I am free,
in the warmth of divine manifestation's embrace,
where love is pure, whispering softly:
'Here, eternity resides. Here, with me—
Welcome home—forever your home! '
