I See Poem by Neela Nath Das

I see I'm
segregated from
my soul in a dream,
I tear the web
of my sleep.
I awake, I sweat
don't want to
go back to dream.
Looking for the lost
soul I walk along
the lanes, alleys,
roads..........
I notice in the
street-light
people lying on
pavements under
the sky, in summer
in rain or in winter.
My soul creeps back
to me.....
I say, I'm happy.
The griefs climb up
thru a ladder of hope.
But, weary mind I leave
behind to keep watch
on the unsolved sorrow.
My poem I leave behind
to take care of their
trials, unknowingly.
