I See Your Gentle Smile - Poem by kimberly craig

I see your gentle smile
and I know
the love you have for me has not died
it lingers still, in my thoughts
it lives on, in my heart
though no longer expressed
it is remembered
lovingly,
tenderly
i regret nothing, except our differences
you know, the ones that will forever
and always
keep us apart
i see you across the room, and i smile
i remember you
