I Shall Be A Wandering Jew. Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

I Shall Be A Wandering Jew.

I shall be a wandering Jew.
I shall not rest to rest
I shall travel to stay here.
For I lit the Flame of Immortality

Yet now this dies, then that.
And now I feel the waters
Of the sea that soon shall carry away
And to the immense heavens
The Flame of Immortality
I, the mortal, leave I.
