I Stand Before Him Saying Poem by Mohammad Younus

I Stand Before Him Saying

I stood before Him, saying:
In the silence, I feel your presence near,
Even when your form remains unclear.
If I see not but you in all I view,
Then in Oneness, my belief holds true.

Your essence whispers in every trace,
No secret hidden in this cosmic space.
Let me speak of you, no longer concealed,
Your remembrance in my heart, revealed.

Impatient now, I yearn to see your face,
Unveil your splendor, in this sacred place.
Gather all, to witness your grace divine,
In Oneness, united, our spirits entwine

If i cannot see you, you are still with me,
I can't see other-than-you,
Even when I do not see you,
If I consider I am something other-than-you,
Then my belief in Oneness is not true,
When you are silent of your reality,
Then you please proclaim through me,
In everything is a trace of you,
If you speak of it, you will no more remain,
A secret hidden, as the sages say.

Put remembrance on my tongue
My patience has run out, in my heart,
The time has come for you to unveil,
Your majestic face for me to see,
And manifest your splendor to my eyes,
Your light will reach the innermost and beyond
The contours of my heart,

Eyes will gaze upon you, heart's eyes will gaze,
I will gather all people to see your face,
Never again will they be divided or abased,
They will see before them the hidden treasure,
They will realize the tidings of your Oneness,
The absolute unity!
