I Stay Poem by Only True

Its been the hardest with you. Worst than I've ever had but yet I stay. Have you ever wondered why? I don’t think you have, I don’t think its been on your mind and I don’t think it's important to you. I hate these things but I still stay. You don’t tell me how you feel and you don’t tell me what I mean to you, but I stay. You never told me that you loved me, you never told me that you care; you never bought me flowers or took me out to dinner, you never looked me in my eyes and kissed me under the stars and you never wiped the tears you’ve caused. But I'm still here; I stay. I stay because I think I might love you. I stay because you mean everything to me and you have my heart. I stay because my heart cant find the guts to leave; my heart fools my mind to believe the empty hope. I stay because when I look in your eyes I cant help but smile because I see a future that sparkles with love and shines with happiness. I see us and that’s why I stay. I stay because I refuse to give up on something that I believe so strongly in. I stay because I think I might love you.
