snatching words as they fly by
a cohesion of the abstract and everyday
the meant-to-be and the not-quite-right
law-men haggle over what's fair
conning the masses of the already conned
reaping the fields that haven't given in years
blades flash singly in the night's tooth
swallowed by the hollowness and given a new death
faced the unseeable and knew where was the nothing
senseless debates inflate and serate

...and I say uh-uh to titles too, Sebsatien. This poem is so true, it is firghtening. You have said a universe full in just these few lines. But even though these are words of wisdom of today's human condition, no one in authority, or living in crime, will be wise enough to heed these words. Thank you so much for sharing, Sebastien. Love & hugs, Barbara
