We've known eachother for a while now
First I didn't know you at all
I'm glad I called the next night
I made a new friend that day
And now you're one of my closest friends
But I want more than that

I cherish you more than anyone
I don't know if you feel the same for me or even close
What I do know is
I want you to be with me
I want us

You are the keeper of my heart
What you choose to do with it is up to you
You can throw it away
Or keep it

You said there might be someone else
I don't know how you feel about him
Or how much he cares for you
He could never feel what I feel
I've opened myself up to you
I've told you how I truly feel
I want us to be together
I think it's time
