I Told You
I told you i loved you,
but you were too busy,
listening to music,
I told you i cared for you,
But you were too annoyed,
at your schoolwork,
I told you i was there for you,
but you were preoccupied,
with living someone else's life,
I told you i was leaving,
but you were too tired,
and busy sleeping,
i told you goodbye,
and you sat up and said,
'babe, don't go'
