I've been waiting for the day
The day that I will be okay.
Living in this lost world
To me, it's all just a blur.

I tried so hard to stand,
Afraid of what will happen when I fall.
I tried so hard to not be afraid,
I just can't handle that pain.

When will someone see?
This mask I'm wearing protects you from me.
Can you handle what is inside?
Love me despite what is in my mind?

I tried so hard to stand tall
Hiding the truth everytime I fall.
I tried so hard not to cry,
I need to learn how to fly.

Walking in the pouring rain
Why am I so alone again?
My broken mask hides my broken heart
It hurt from the very start

I tried so hard to smile
Always facing the same harsh trial.
I tried to keep this mask from sliding
While inside I'm dying.
