I Tried
I tried to tell you that he isn't right for you,
I tried to warn you.
You're not yourself anymore.
You are out partying and skipping school, all for what...him?
I want to hate you.
I want to see you stand there alone and lost,
But my heart won't let me.
We've been friends far too long.
I wish I could make you see what he's doing to you,
All I can do is stand here and wait for you to fail.
