Friendship Poem by Talisha Hetrick

Friendship

Light is brought through the warmth of a friends eyes.
It is sought by most of us,
And is found by even more.
Those who never see the light,
Are those who keep their eyes shut.
For darkness crowds the inside of our mind.
It tries to engilf the unwary,
Hiding amongst every person.
Repelled only by the comfort of a friend,
Contained by those who care,
And vanquished by love.
If everyone would open thier eyes,
No one would be alone.
