I Tried To Be A Worthy Friend



I tried to be a worthy friend
I didnt quite know how
Perhaps I tried to hard at times
I wished I knew then now
I've hurt my friend I used to love
I see it in her eyes
Can I reach out to say I'm sorry
This blessing in disguise
Or should I rather leave her be
To struggle on her own
It hurts to see her all my fault
She sits in thought alone
