I Try Poem by A.R. Brixton

I Try

Rating: 2.7

I try, I, and I, we, always Try.
For I, have not a soul,
That yearns for the sky,
Mine, urges for fire.

Fire to burn in,
Fire to gaze at,
To warm, what coldness
Came upon it.

And so, I, always I,
Must not fear, nor death
Nor life, so are they
Quite the same

They, always They,
Keep pushing, to the limit
The poor beating heart
That can not, must not

Take the pressure
Of choice
Of decision
For I lack the will.

And I, always I,
Will not, not anymore,
Bear that weight
For I cannot.

And it so is,
And shall be,
For can it be
Otherwise?
