I Versify Thus Slow; Slow Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

I Versify Thus Slow; Slow

I versify thus slow; slow
Syllable by syllable almost
And every line issues fatigued
From under threshold stones in
The Windmill of Attention
The lazy afternoon fatigue increases
And the noon zenith neutral stays
And then decline of day - more as in
Winter than in this Spring calendar-started.
