I Walked Alone Poem by the Nickster

I Walked Alone

I walked alone through the paths one night
When a hurtful thought came into sight
An un-kept promise I had made to the Lord
Now raced through my mind and left me insecure
The PROMISE: His will I would do if in return He would do something too-
Just bring my friend back to P.S.U., and bestow upon her all that she's due
So, as I walked through the paths my eyes did weep
It was during that moment when I began to seek
the Lord for forgiveness
And, He did just that
Now, my soul is set free; my joy is renewed & as for my God...
He's all of 'dat.
