It's been months since I've tried to forget you
forget what we shared; forget that I cared
But the past 20 years seem recurrent~my thoughts I can't undo
I remember as if it were yesterday the first day that we met:
Summer time, Undergrad~you borrowed music that I kept
I remember the walks...to work...and back again
upon your hourly shift's end
I remember all the Late Night runs 'cause you were 'Hungry Now'~
that line, you would resound
