Why does she act like I'm not even there
When I'm the only one who really and truly cares
I think she's scared to be around me
Because she keeps pushing me away
When all I really want to do is stay

Online she reveals more of herself
But in reality she just stick me up on the shelf
Up on the shelf where I just sit and gather dust
When all I really want her to give me is her trust
I want to be there for her like she was there for me

All I really want is for her to open up her eyes and see
Open up her eyes and gaze just once upon me
For her to think man he's such a great guy
Instead of just ignoring me and sticking me on the side
I just want her by me with her hand in mine

But right now and at this point I just want her off my mind
