I Want To Love You Poem by Kimberly Hope

I Want To Love You

I sit on my bed.
I stare at the sky.
So dark and alone I am,
with no one to hold,
hearing your voice,
I turn around, only to stare at the ground.
You're so close;
yet I can't reach
the love your holding out.
I hide my face,
so you can't see a trace
in the pain I face,
and of what has been left.
You show me love
that no one has ever done.
In return I give you my grace.
In your eyes only, am I free,
and hurt shall I never.
We stare into the eyes,
to know we live our lives.....
