I Was Meant To Bleed - Poem by Patrick Bateman
Aplomb decreed,
Yet I still bleed.
Psychotic plead
Plight will concede
Yet I still bleed.
Psychosis subsides
Smiled, surprise
Countenance heed
Yet I still bleed.
Abrade, enthusiast
Scraping dermis,
With razor feed
I still bleed.
Promulgation,
This sensation
With harmful deed
I still bleed.
Palpitating grin
Self-inflicted sin
Addiction will supersede
Because I was meant to bleed.
