I Weigh Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

I Weigh

I weigh
And
I
Wish
I
Weigh
Less

To
Be
Fair
I
Weighed
Less
Stones
These
Latter
Months.

But
The
Job
Is
Not
Done.
Far
Far.

Words
Build
Verses
I chuckle
Then
The iron curtain
Falls
And
I
Am
Sad
Again.

Word after word
I return
Again and again
Those
Are the happy
Haunts
Word after word
Building.
