i start to cry as my heart fills with dismay,

ive lost him thats all i can say

we used to love each other we did

but no our relationship has a lid

a lid that no matter how hard you pull it wont come off

as you can see i cannot laugh

i miss him dearly but now he will not talk

its like he put his heart in a box with a lock

but now i must go on with my life

no matter what the strife

as my tears fall down on the lake

i will always love you jake
