I Will Atone Poem by Randy McClave

I Will Atone

This I will atone
I have already written it in stone,
By everyone that I know or have known
I truly enjoy being alone.
I have been used and hurt one time to many
Now I see every woman as a bad penny,
For a forever together I don't want any
Lies, cheating, stealing they have given me plenty.
I need no woman at my side
And I don't need another cheating bride,
Happily alone I do stride
I need no girlfriend either to be satisfied.
I do whatever that I wanna do
And I go wherever I need or want to,
I need not a woman to stick with like glue
And I don't constantly need to say, "I love you".
I need not say, "you are right"
So, that I won't have to argue or fight,
Or end up sleeping on the couch at night
Because, my common sense took flight.
I need not ask permission
So, not to cause worries or any tension,
When anywhere I'd be seeking an addition
So not to be ending up at the mortician.
I eat whatever I want to eat
Anyone that I want I can see or meet,
Happily I walk down the street
I am now complete.
With any woman I can happily flirt
As I look at them in their skirt,
Or as I stare at them in their tight T-shirt
No woman's feelings will I deliberately hurt.
A man alone has everything
For true happiness he needs not buy a ring,
All he needs is an occasional fling
Then his heart will truly sing.
Women I truly do enjoy going out with
I enjoy them better than a Granny Smith,
Do I use them for my pleasure, I take the fifth
Happier being married, is but a myth.
I have no girlfriend or a spouse
I live happily alone in my house,
Never do I have to be quiet as a mouse
Never my needs or wants or desires do I douse.
My home is my own personal man cave
Unto no woman am I a slave,
I am a king in a castle and not a knave
Being alone is what makes a man free and brave.
