I sit at my door step and watch them
Most of them do not notice me!
Some come and go, they go in poverty,
Most of them recognise me
but they do not pay tribute to me.
Some passes by, just to say 'hi',
But they do not understand just how important I am to them.
Only the wise passes by to pay attention,
They understand how important I am to them,
Because I keep them updated, because Every time I pass they count.
They count for their own benefit,
They know how to invest in me.
I want to leave them behind,
For those who pays no tribute or attention,
I will let them go.
But they always come back when it is too late,
I will be gone.
Once I am gone, they cannot bring me back,
Every moment I pass by, I count and never recount.
The wise will catch up to me!
They wasted their youth, doing nothing of worth,
When they come back in their old age,
I will be gone.
