I really want to talk to you,
But boy you have me tongue tied,
You’re always surrounded by your friends,
And I don’t think that I have the guts,

To talk to you with them around,
Maybe when you’re not around your friends,
What am I kidding not even then,
I think that it’s going to be a while until I get up,
The courage to talk to you,

Maybe one more day or even one more week,
But I know by the end of this year,
I will have you in my reach.
