I Will Wait Poem by Joe Garson

I Will Wait

</>Find you
In this vision I have made
See you
In a dream
Show you
All the colors I have seen
See you
In a dream

I will wait
Until the morning meets the night
I will wait for you to come
I will wait
Until the darkness turns to light
Tell me I'm the only one
Tell me I'm the only one

Find me
In this prison I have made
Teach me
To break free
Help me
Take away this fear and pain
Show me
How to see

I will wait
Until the morning meets the night
I will wait for you to come
I will wait
Until the darkness turns to light
Tell me I'm the only one
Tell me I'm the only one

I like this song Joe. Clear lyrics, direct... deceptively simple. They contain a philosophy of life probably hard won. I once met a very old woman, mother of a political family who had sacrificed a great deal to make South Africa a better place. All she said to me was, 'Friends are very important.' I liked what she said and I like your song for a similar reason.
