Running Through The Night Poem by Joe Garson

Running Through The Night

Nothing ventured
Nothing gained they say
You pick up the pieces
Look for a better day
There's always sunshine
After the rain
You take the pleasure
With the pain

And I've been running through the night
Trying to find you
Searching for the light
To show me the way
Running through the night
Running right behind you
How can a love so strong
Slip away?

Life grows shorter
Every time we cry
Sooner or later
We reach the other side
Nothing ventured
Nothing gained
We take the pleasure
With the pain

And I've been running through the night
Trying to find you
Searching for the light
To show me the way
Running through the night
Running right behind you
How can alove so strong
Slip away?
