I Wish Poem by Allison Hankins

I Wish

The moon,
You're peacefulness shows how I want to feel, how I sometimes force myself to feel for his sake, and mine.
The sun,
You're blazes reflect my feelings, my anger and my frustration about this.
The mountains,
I long to be like you. To be above the world and all of it's problems, to be strong and stable. I wish I could rise above worldly issues.

I wish, I wish, I wish...
