I Wish Poem by Mark Tachi

I Wish

I wish I were that little light feather, from under that cork's feathery wing, light and ever-ready for the wind to carry. And blow me away this unfriendly earthly ground.tasting freedom, while flying high above in the skies.approaching the gazing sunset-painted horizon.looking back down, meeting earth's envious gaze, I whisper a corky curse, and swear never to return again!
