I Wish A Lot Of Things Really

I sat in my corner crying
An empty void
Listening to words that had no feeling
Words of hate and destruction.
A face distorted with rage!
How i wished i could turn over the cover of this book
and just hide behind a well versed page.
Losing myself in words and poems.
Finding my soul and rekindling my spirit
I wish a lot of things really! !
