I Fell Before You A Broken Man Poem by James Comerford

I Fell Before You A Broken Man

Rating: 4.0

I had no answers to your questions
I could find no words to appease you
I tried but could not please

I fell before you a broken man!

You spat your venom at a man dead inside.
I had nowhere to go, nowhere to hide.
I just sat alone and let you scream.
let you destroy my dream

Then i got up and walked away
I had no place to run, no place to go.
So i walked and cried and walked a bit more
Knowing that i would never again pass your door.

This poem is just like the first. In terms of quality and meaning, they are derived from the same place. I might prefer more variety, but if these are the only two of their kind I won't complain. GW62
