I Wish I Made You Smile Poem by John Kipling Lewis

I Wish I Made You Smile

Rating: 4.3

looking past the trees
into the summer skies
not a hint of a cloud
in your brilliant blue eyes.

lying here beside you
I wish I could envision
that I could make you smile
and be an obvious decision

so off you go
I know my role
we're sure to be good friends
and if you find
you've changed your mind
perhaps you'll smile in the end

I like this one and it's gentle flow. Good job! ! !

3. Obvious forced rhymes 'skies/eyes', 'friend/end, ' etc, cliches, telliness, and not one original image. It's just bad.
