Life, I wish had been of roses
Where red, yellow.pink, white petals would be strewn on my path
I would have enjoyed all the phases
Counting from spring, summer, rainy, autumn, winter
In spring in a garden rose buds would enchant me as I stood
In summer the fragrance of the opening buds would spread its fragrance to the wood
Where I smiled and in the rainy the rose petals would lull me to sleep
While in the autumn the rose would create an impact so deep
That I dream only of the roses in a garden where I sing
Although it would be winter, music in my ears would ring
Wish life had been a bed of roses
I would then enjoy all its phases.
