I Wished Poem by Kay Gaiser

I Wished

I wish you cared but I know you don't
Maybe it's your own self esteem
It hurts us both
Have you ever been spontaneous?
Managed some encroach?
Do you desire me a little bit more,
To the tease of trying something else?
My hope is there, practically bursting with excitement, but knowing reproach.
If walls are caves, then I respectfully restrain.
Bless you & more, but I'm worth approach.
Letting go is acceptable, and it will be fine. Ultimately all I ask is, 'while I care about you, can you, respect my life as mine? '
