I Wonder Poem by Brendon Langeveldt

I Wonder

I wonder how it would've been if you and I never met. I wouldn't miss you right now, I won't be tryin to forget. I look at all 3 of you sons, I swear I see them in you, I mean I see you in them. I mean I see a part of you, each time I'm lookin at them.
I wonder how it would've been if you and I never met. If we never got close, if I still would regret. The day I had to say goodbye though I wasn't prepared yet. I look at all 3 of your sons and swear I see them in you. I question God everyday, but He won't give me a clue. I know that that is not a thing that you would tell me to do, but I'm just trying to find peace through all this missing of you.
I wonder how it would've been if you and I never met. I wouldn't think of us dancing, or us acting crazy. I wouldn't cry each time I heard Bob Marley sing Redemption Song, but the memory of you is still too fresh and so strong, that even Tears in Heaven could never be just a song.

In short, I'm missing you man, I know that God must have a purpose, but I'm missing the plan. Though who can blame me? After all, remember I'm just a man. Missing my brother from another mother, although you passed, you'll still be the number one and I'm your biggest fan...
