I Wonder Where We Are



I WONDER WHERE WE ARE

I wonder where we are
And why we are.

Stars outside emblazon the night
I inside write in search of the light.

All we are will never be known
Time is passing
Soon we’ll be gone.

Life has meaning for those who care
I and you will never get there.

Why the sky and why the words
Why the light and the song unheard?
