I Worry For You Poem by Daniel Burns

I Worry For You

Rating: 5.0

Across the sea, where silence sleeps,
My anxious heart its vigil keeps.
Unwell, I know, but nothing more,
No message comes from the distant shore.

The ocean stretches, vast and deep,
While in thoughts of her my spirit steep
In gnawing quiet. Is she well?
This untold story of stillness has cast its spell.

So all I have is a hopeful plea,
And endless prayer sent across the sea.
That health may return, that peace may bloom,
That light may fill her world's gloom.

I will pray for your poor cousin! I have a relative in a similar condition right now, and this poem sings with so much relevance in this present time. Thank you for sharing this poem! The rhythm and rhymes are exceptional!
