I would choose the truth
As my guide in every life,
I would choose the truth
To reign within my heart.
If you'd have me,
I'll be your reflection,
It is with your light
That I wish to shine.
In your embrace,
I would choose to live,
Why wouldn't I choose you—
You're the essence of me.
A million times,
I would sing and dance,
If immersed in your love,
I could finally be.
After your loving embrace, I see,
Even against the world,
I'd still choose you—my eternal—
For you are the sun, ever glowing,
And I, the light,
Your golden hue.
You're the playwright,
And I, the play.
You're the full moon,
And I, the night.
A perfect connection
In every regard—
You are the rain of mercy,
I, the arid land.
You are the eternal light
Of the heavens and earth,
The beauty unseen by all.
Sometimes visible to our eyes,
Yet forever hidden,
When I do not choose you.
In every life, you choose me,
Your reflection—
Truth no sage can ever refute.
